Don’t Miss the Bradley Band Concert on October 15, 2019

Below is the schedule for the concert on October 15th.  Students will wear the green band polos tucked into blue jeans.  If the green polos haven’t been delivered, students should dress appropriately according to NEISD dress code. Schedule 5:45 P.M.—JAZZ BAND 2 (ARRIVE BY 5:15 P.M.) 6:05 P.M.—BEGINNER BAND (ARRIVE BY 5:35 P.M.) 6:20 P.M.—CONCERT BAND (ARRIVE BY 5:50 P.M.) 6:40 P.M.—SYMPHONIC BAND (ARRIVE BY 6:10 P.M.) 7:00 P.M.—JAZZ BAND 1 (ARRIVE BY 6:30 P.M.) 7:30 P.M.—HONOR BAND (ARRIVE BY 7:00 P.M.) Honor band students should be prepared to stay, help bring the equipment back, and reset the band halls after the concert. Make Plans to Attend the Awesome Bradley MS Summer Band Camp

The Bradley Middle School Summer Band Camp will take place July 29th-August 9th, 2019 (M-F) at Bradley Middle School. The Band Camp is not required, but is strongly recommended. We want everyone to attend to get a head start on your band experience and enjoy fun activities with your friends before starting school! For incoming sixth-graders, the band camp is an excellent opportunity to make new friends and get familiar with your middle school and new band facilities before school starts! Thank you for your support of the Bradley Middle School Band! Our Spaghetti Dinner, Silent Auction, and Bake Sale was held in the Bradley Middle School gyms on Monday, April 1st, 2019. Parents, families and friends enjoyed performances by all of the concert and jazz bands. Dinner included spaghetti with a choice of meat or marinara sauce, salad, bread, and tea/lemonade. Bradley MS Honor and Symphonic Bands Receive UIL Sweepstakes

We are so proud of the Bradley Honor and Symphonic Bands for their hard work and Sweepstakes Awards at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest on March 28-29, 2019. Thank you to all of the many clinicians, private teachers, and parents who have helped and supported us along the way. April 1st, 2019 – Spaghetti Dinner, Spring Concert, and Silent Auction!

On April 1st, 2019 the Bradley Band will host our annual Spaghetti Dinner, Spring Concert, and Silent Auction, which is our band’s major fundraiser for the school year. Funds raised from this charitable dinner and silent auction will pay for the purchase and repair of musical instruments, sheet music and band lockers, and the many other supplies needed to support our young musicians. These funds also provide very special opportunities for the students to work with professional musicians and to display their talents outside the school area at contests and festivals. Region XII MS Band Audition Information for Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Harris Middle School

The Region XII Middle School Band Auditions will take place at Harris Middle School on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Please make sure to read and understand the student instructions and audition Information. One or more chaperones will need to sit at the Bradley table in the cafeteria for the duration of the contest. Please note that the Bradley MS Band Directors will be judging at the contest and will not be available to answer questions. Contact Emily Gurwitz prior to the contest with any Region Band Audition questions.

Trip Information for the Houston Bayou City Classic

The Bradley Middle School Honor, Symphonic and Concert Bands will be attending the Houston Bayou City Classic on Friday, April 12, 2019. View the commitment form for the Bradley Middle School Band Houston Trip. The first payment is due on or before November 13, 2018. Field Trip to the Churchill HS vs South San Football Game on October 27, 2018

The Bradley Middle School Band 7th- and 8th-grade students will be substituting for the Churchill High School Band at the WC vs. South San football game on October 27, 2018! Please note this performance is mandatory for all 7th- and 8th-grade band students. Students will need to wear the Bradley Band polo, blue jeans, closed-toe shoes, jackets, gloves and hats. Students may also bring a filled water jug. View the field trip Permission Slip and Itinerary. Bradley Middle School 2018 Summer Band Camp

Bradley Middle School Summer Band Camp was a great success. It took place at Churchill High School due to construction at Bradley Middle School. The final concert was held in the Churchill Auditorium on August 17th. The Bradley Middle School Beginner, Jazz and Concert bands performed. For the Grand Finale, the Bradley concert band was joined by the Churchill High School Marching Band!

Best in Festival-Instrumental Division and Outstanding Performance Awards – Bayou City Music Festival, Houston, Texas, 4/20/18

We are so proud of the Bradley Honor and Symphonic Bands for their hard work this year. On Friday, April 20, 2018, The Bradley Middle School Honor & Symphonic Bands each received Outstanding Performance Awards at the Bayou City Classic Music Festival in Houston, Texas. After the festival ended on Saturday, the Bradley Middle School Honor Band was awarded the Best in Festival-Instrumental Division. Four Bradley Middle School Honor Band students also received Outstanding Soloist Awards. Thank you to all of the many clinicians, private teachers, and parents who have helped and supported us along the way. Below are a few comments from the judges and a picture of the combined bands.
